Organizations who are certified are required to conduct an internal audit annually. The individual conducting the internal audit needs to prove competency as well as be independent of the work they are auditing. This requirement makes it tough for small business to conduct their own internal audits. Due to the many hat’s employees wear in a small business, the internal audit is typically outsourced to a consulting firm. My experience allows me to conduct thorough and comprehensive internal audits which will lead to improvements to your QMS and finding gaps that need to be addressed. Customers and Auditors can be very particular on how they want your corrective actions to be written. With the pandemic, organizations and consultants had to adapt to remote support to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Having ISO-AS-Consulting Services come in monthly can decrease your workload, save you time, and still save you thousands of dollars a year compared to what a full-time Quality Manager would cost.
Audit Liaison
Audit Liaison is when ISO-AS-Consulting Services is present during your external audit. Having an ISO consultant present when the representative of the certification body is conducting their audit can eliminate any miscommunication between the organization and auditor. Additionally, we can simply be eyes and ears so that if observations are made, I can work on addressing them while on site. If ISO-AS-Consulting Services is hired as an audit liaison, we will help your close out any nonconformities that may arise free of charge. Having me present and in the loop, leads to a quick and effective response to a corrective action so that your ISO-AS certificate is not in jeopardy of being suspended. Losing your ISO-AS cert will lead to additional costs from the Certifying Body to get it back as well as potentially losing a customer that requires your organization to be ISO-AS certified.
ITAR and EAR
Through training, I will provide your organization with a foundational understanding of ITAR and EAR requirements. Who needs to register, how to register, how registration impacts your business, and implications of not conforming will all be addressed in my training presentation. I will also create an ITAR manual that is unique to your business which is strongly recommended and expected.
Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)
Any organization doing business with the DoD likely has to self-certify. As of 2025, organizations will have to be certified by a 3rd party (C3PAO). Through training, I will provide your organization with a foundational understanding of the CMMC model so you can self-certify your business in order to meet your customer requirements. I will help you implement and manage the requirements of the CMMC model, so you are prepared for the 2025 deadline.
